Phoebe Ray Mchenry

Chief Administrative Officer

Having worked on films, voice- over projects, commercials and stages from Chicago to Los Angeles to Houston, Phoebe has become a multi-hyphenate talent. She has worked as an actress, writer and producer for over 20 years and holds a bachelor and masters degree in theatre and film studies.

Born in Houston and raised in Chicago, she performs in and creates stories that show the range of true diversity. Her mission in storytelling and production is to break perceptions and preconceived notions audiences may have. She hopes to open an audience’s eyes and show what a character, a person, can be when we stop stereotyping, type- casting, and placing societal boundaries on the arts.

She recently wrote, directed and starred as Aphrodite in a live stage production based in Greek mythology and you can currently see her in ‘I FORGIVE’ out on Amazon Prime.

Whether in front of the camera, on a stage, or running around behind the scenes on a set, Phoebe hopes to bring joy, entertainment and awareness to audiences and foster true community in film and theatre. She is excited to be a part of the Deep Focus Films team as it’s Chief Administrative Officer.
